On Sunday afternoon the Arlington Renegades traveled to Gross High School to play the South Omaha Peewees, a Big team.     The Eagles took the opening kick off and drove down to the  Peewee's 30.      Peewee Defense stopped the Eagles and took over on downs.     On second down and long Adam Loftis intercepted a pass and returned it to the Peewee's 37. The Eagles drove the ball down to the 17 and again the Peewees took over on downs.     Thus ending the first quarter.
   In the second quarter the Peewees were moving the ball down the field, when Ben Johnson intercepted a pass for a long return.   On the next play Adam Monke ran in for a touch down.    Eagles converted the extra point.    After kicking off the Eagle Defense took over with Kyle Brown and Cole Kratochvil having some key tackles to help hold the Peewees scoreless in the first half.
Halftime score:   Eagles: 7 - Peewees: 0.
    The second half started off with the Eagles kicking to the Peewees.   The Peewees drove the ball down and scored but failed to convert on the 2 point kick.     The quarter ended with both teams defenses taking control.    Third quarter score:  Eagles: 7 - Peewees: 6.
     In the fourth quarter the Peewee Offense marched down the field and scored but still could not convert on the 2 point kick.   After the kick off the Eagle Offense took over, drove down and scored.  The Eagles were unable to covert on the extra point.   When it was time for the Eagle Defense to take the field The Coaches told them " Take over and play hard, it's up to you now!"   The Eagle Defense stepped up and shut down the Peewee Offense.    The Eagles took over on downs and ran the clock out.   The win was a great effort by all the Players and Coaches.   Final score:  Eagles: 13 - Peewees:12
