Arlington
Jr Midgets Pull Off The First Win of the Season
The
Arlington Jr Midget Eagles won their first game of the season with a
stunning 30-0 shut out of the Northwest Tigers in
Arlington
last Sunday.
Big
offensive plays by Christopher Gorton, Jonathan Smailys and Ross Miller
allowed the Eagles to make huge running gains.
The offensive backs were protected by lineman Aaron and Michael Doll,
Alec Stromer and Trevor Koger.
On
the defensive side of the ball,
Arlington
held the contending Northwest Tigers scoreless thanks to the play of Calen
Kollars, Tanner Smith, Logan Tate and Sam Neary.
The
Jr Midget’s next game is at
2p.m.
on Sunday, October 14, at
Dana
College
in Blair against the Blair White.
