In
the first half of the game against the Bennington Badgers on
Saturday the Arlington Eagles Midgets came out a little shaky and
had trouble stopping the Bennington Badgers. After the first half of
the game the Badgers took a long run for a touchdown with only
8:41
left in the game.
In
the second half the Eagles started to get back in the swing. Passes
were being made and an interception which was then called back due
to a flag. The Eagles were on fire. Sacking down the quarter
back and finally a trick play made between Mitchell Thompson and
Cody Erickson passed to Nate Neary for a
20 yard
touchdown to end the game with a score of 16-6. Coach Wiese
says “The boys started a little rough today but once some great
things happened the intensity went back up.” The Midget
Arlington Eagles next game will be at
Elkhorn
on September 22 at
1:00pm
