Arlington 20 Gretna Gold 6
The Arlington Pee Wee football team won their third game of the
season this last saturday. They beat Gretna Gold 20-6. This
much needed win came after losing two previous games.
Arlington
put up 20 points on three touchdown runs from Kayden Greene. They
converted 2 of 3 extra point attempts. Late in the game
Gretna
found the end zone and made it 20-6. Their extra point was stopped,
but they were successful on an onside kick. With 17 seconds to go
the
Arlington
boys forced a fumble and reassured their victory. Offensive
standouts were Kayden Greene, and Sam Plugge, Defensive standouts
were Cameron Mengedoht, Garret Gustafson, and Garris Karr. The
Eagles will face the Northwest Tigers at home next Sunday
at
12 p.m.
