It was a cool Saturday morning for the Arlington Pee Wees this past weekend. The Arlington Pee Wees hosted the Hickman Screaming Eagles. #35 Kaden Greene started the game with a 16 yard kickoff to put the Screaming Eagles at their own 39 yard line. The Screaming Eagles marched to the 20 yard line before an Arlington  defensive stop.

The Eagles opening series was stopped by the Screaming Eagles Defense. The Screaming Eagles forced the Arlington Pee Wees to an automatic punt moving the ball to the 45 yard line. The Eagles were the first to score on a 29 yard touchdown run by Kaden Greene. A two point conversion made the score 7-0 Arlington . The Screaming Eagles were stopped from scoring by a tackle from #2 Mike Keffer that ended the first half.

The second half was started with a series of mishaps by the Arlington Eagles. It started with an early flag on first down and a holding call on #26 Sam Plugge's 2nd down 40 yard run. A fumble on 3rd down forced the Eagles to punt the ball away. The Screaming Eagles were given the ball near the 25 yard line after the punt. A big Screaming Eagles run was finally ended by a tackle from Dillon Whitmarsh. After a long Screaming Eagles drive, the 3rd quarter was over.

The start of the 4th quarter brought a Screaming Eagles touchdown. The extra point was a big play for the Arlington Eagles. A tackle by #15 Ethan Gubbels on the 1 yard line saved the Eagles from a tied game. A fumble on an Eagle drive gave the Screaming Eagles the ball on the 49 yard line. They marched to the 20 yard line and were stopped by a 4th down tackle by Mike Keffer. With 1:05 left in the game the Eagles downed the ball to end it all. They became 2-0 and will face Gretna Black on the 15th at 9 a .m. in Arlington .
