End Of Season and Awards Banquet

Awards Banquet - October 26th, 5:30 - 7 PM, Arlington Elementary Gym
Please bring something to share for everyone to eat - it could be a main dish, vegetable, salad, dessert - you decide, its potluck.
AYF will provide the utensils, plates, cups and drinks. A slide show will highlight the season; awards and scholarship will be handed out to the players.

> Stuart Beck will be offering CD copies of all the Pee Wee and Midget picture
throughout the season, roughly around 1000 pictures and video clips for each team. This wonderful treasure of pictures and video clips can be purchased for only $12.50
per CD. Stuart will be available after the banquet to order these CD's.

> Voting for two board positions will be done before you eat. Every family has one vote. The two positions that are up for a vote are Director of Corporate Sponsorship/Fundraising and Football Commissioner. Anyone wanting to serve on the A YF Board, please contact Paul Thies at 478-4011 - in the future board members will have free registration for 1 player.

Note: Any family who wishes to sell their helmet next year can put their name, phone number and helmet size on a list for anyone looking to purchase a helmet next season.

Football Equipment collection will be at the Awards Banquet from 5-7 PM.
Football equipment that should be returned are: shoulder pads, pant pads, game and practice pants and game jersey. The pants and jersey should be laundered, please see instructions for cleansing. Jerseys should air dried and not be placed into the dryer.

Board Decisions at our October 15th board meeting:

1) Motion to change the following board names: President to Commissioner, Vice-President to Assistant Commissioner, Director of Fundraising to Director of Corporate Sponsorship and Fundraising. Motion Passed.
2) Motion that allows each board member one free football registration for their family to offset the time/effort of each board member. Motion Passed.
3) Motion to merge the duties of the Secretary to the Treasurer and eliminate the Secretary position and to merge the duties of the Director of Game Operations to the Assistant Commissioner and eliminate the Director of Game Operations, thus reducing the AYF board from 9 to 7 members. Motion Passed.
4) Motion to move the annual meeting from April (Spring) to October (at AYF banquet) with election of officers. Motion Passed.
